Retiring this base from my stock….

The Goblin Babe is one of three colourways (The Goblin King & The Goblin Queen) that decided to create themselves in my dye pots one day.

When originally appearing in my dye pot, I thought this was The Goblin Queen and named it so. That didn’t last. Hours later, while dyeing more of The Babe, The Queen appeared and the Babe was put in their place.

The Babe came second.
A Goblin Babe.
Mischievious.
Who liked to play.
Imitated the Queen.
Until rebuked.
The Queen annoyed.
The Babe amused.

The Goblin Babe is a fun colourway! Splashes of black, pink, purple and green combine to create a fun and mischievious texture that would add a bit to play to any project.

In this colourway, the green is UV/black light reactive. At one point, I was out to a live performance while also trying to work on a project…and I could see it in the dark! The practical uses for UV reactive yarn….who knew!?

Be aware that colors may appear differently on different computer monitors, but every effort has been made to portray them as accurately as possible.
All of my yarns are hand dyed and, as much as I attempt to match, every batch is one-of-a-kind.  Be sure to order what you need as matching future batches are not guaranteed.
When using hand-dyed yarns in a project that requires more than one skein, it is strongly recommended to alternate skeins every other row of knitting to even out any differences.
Lastly, as with any hand dyed yarn, please expect minor imperfections and some variation from skein to skein (even within the same batch), as each skein is individually hand painted.
