This yarn colourway may not smell like honey but it is inspired by wild honey and propolis. Those products made by our bee friends in their raw state; long before they are processed at high temperatures for a long period then filtered to remove all those “imperfections”: pollen, beeswax, and propolis. Both honey and propolis, and even pollen, come in a variety of colours depending on where in the world and what plants and flowers the bees are visiting and this colourway attempts to represent that. (Last photo shows off some shades and inspiration)
It is a two-step process with this particular yarn. First I dye the base colour and then the yarn has to be bone dry before I add the speckles which keeps them sharp and edgy

If none is in stock, it will be made to order, so please allow 1-2 weeks for creation (if needed) and delivery. If ordering more than three, a new batch could be made to ensure they all match.
NOTES RE HAND-DYED YARNS:
Be aware that colors may appear differently on different computer monitors, but every effort has been made to portray them as accurately as possible.
All of my yarns are hand dyed and, as much as I attempt to match, every batch is one-of-a-kind. Be sure to order what you need as matching future batches are not guaranteed.
When using hand-dyed yarns in a project that requires more than one skein, it is strongly recommended to alternate skeins every other row of knitting to even out any differences.
Lastly, as with any hand dyed yarn, please expect minor imperfections and some variation from skein to skein (even within the same batch), as each skein is individually hand painted.
